The New Science of Optimism: A Skills-Based Approach to Improving Workplace Culture 

 

Learn fundamentals of Positive Psychology and the definition of a new kind of optimism; 

Discover skills necessary to maintain optimism regardless of changes; 

Learn specific tools to immediately improve one’s individual perspective; 

Learn to teach these skills to others in order to effect agency-wide change and organizational perspective; 

Discover through anecdotal evidence and breakout group discussions the value and lasting impact of these changes. 

 

Speaker Brent Pace, Center for Human Potential , will employ multimedia, group discussion, breakout groups and hands-on teaching techniques to provide for a humorous, dynamic, and stimulating conference experience.
